Fantasy Pickleball Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Fantasy Pickleball (“the App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance.

2. Account Registration

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must be at least 13 years of age to use the App. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent or legal guardian’s permission to use the App. You may not create multiple accounts, share accounts, or transfer your account to another person.

3. Virtual Currency & In-App Economy

The App uses virtual currencies (“Coins” and “Gems”) that have no real-world monetary value and cannot be exchanged for real money, goods, or services outside the App. Virtual currency is non-refundable and non-transferable. We reserve the right to modify the virtual economy, including currency balances, pricing, and rewards, at any time. Purchased premium currency (Gems) may be subject to additional terms at the time of purchase. Any attempt to manipulate, exploit, or artificially inflate virtual currency balances is prohibited and may result in account termination.

4. Fantasy Leagues & Fair Play

Fantasy Pickleball is a skill-based game involving fantasy sports leagues. Users draft professional pickleball players and earn points based on real tournament results. You agree to participate in good faith and not to:

• Use automated tools, bots, or scripts
• Collude with other users to gain an unfair advantage
• Exploit bugs or glitches (report them instead)
• Manipulate draft outcomes or scoring
• Create multiple accounts to gain competitive advantages

We reserve the right to adjust scores, void league results, or suspend accounts that violate fair play principles.

5. User Conduct

You agree not to use the App to:

• Harass, bully, or intimidate other users
• Post offensive, inappropriate, or illegal content
• Impersonate another person or entity
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or its systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the App’s functionality
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations

We may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these conduct standards at our sole discretion.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the App (including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, software, and underlying code) are owned by Fantasy Pickleball LLC and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Professional player names, statistics, and tournament data are used for fantasy sports purposes under fair use. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the App without our express written permission.

7. Data & Scoring

Fantasy scores are calculated using data from professional pickleball tournaments (PPA, APP, MLP). While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee that scoring data will be error-free or available in real time. Score corrections may be applied retroactively. Tournament cancellations, schedule changes, or data source issues may affect league results. Our scoring decisions are final.

8. Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS. THE APP IS CURRENTLY IN BETA AND MAY CONTAIN BUGS OR INCOMPLETE FEATURES. We are not responsible for any loss of data, virtual currency, or league progress due to technical issues.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FANTASY PICKLEBALL LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU HAVE PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

10. Account Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion. You may delete your account at any time through the App settings. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. Virtual currency balances are forfeited upon account deletion or termination.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved through binding individual arbitration administered in the State of California, in accordance with applicable arbitration rules, except where prohibited by law. Nothing in this section prevents either party from bringing an individual claim in small-claims court.
